Mock Draft: Live FantasyPros.com 12-Team (Position 7) Grade C

Trying another twelve-team draft, this time a live draft on FantasyPros.com. Drafting from Slot 7, this draft did not go that well for me. I got a C grade (76/100) with 850 points. The main issue that I ran into was not drafting backup running backs until too late (11th round), and then I drafted three rookies with no guaranteed roles. Otherwise, I think the rest of my roster was okay.

.07 Christian McCaffrey RB (SF) Considering Nico Collins or Malik Nabers here. I guess it's up to you to decide whether the difference between McCaffrey and Bucky Irving is bigger than the difference between Collins and AJ Brown.

.06 A.J. Brown WR (PHI) Seemed better than going RB-RB with Irving, Chase Brown, or Jonathan Taylor here. Some might take Brock Bowers here, but it seems like the WR or RB is a better value here.

.07 Lamar Jackson QB (BAL) Looking at Tyreek Hill/Davante Adams WR, George Kittle TE, and Kenneth Walker III RB here. Hurts was still available at 4.06.

.06 James Conner RB (ARI) Marvin Harrison Jr., D.J. Moore, D.K. Metcalf, Courtland Sutton were WR options still available. Hurts, as I said was still here. Chuba Hubbard and Breece Hall were other RB options. In retrospect, Walker+Hurts is probably better than Lamar+Conner.

.07 George Pickens WR (DAL) Jaylen Waddle was also available. I'm happy with either of these as my #2 receiver.

.06 Jerry Jeudy WR (CLE) I passed up Aaron Jones. That may have been a mistake.

.07 Emeka Egbuka WR (TB) This was much higher than the site had him, but I doubt he would have made it back to Round 8. Jaylen Warren was the RB I was considering here.

.06 David Njoku TE (CLE) Should be good as long as Flacco is the starter. Javonte Williams was an available RB here.

.07 Tyler Warren TE (IND) Hearing good things about him from the preseason games. Rhamondre Stevenson seemed like the best RB left.

.06 Keon Coleman WR (BUF) I noticed that I had three receivers with a week 9 bye; so I decided I needed another backup here. Tank Bigsby was probably the best RB on the board.

.07 Jacory Crosskey-Merritt RB (WAS) My first backup RB, this is certainly a reach and not sure how deep on the depth chart he is.

.06 Bhayshul Tuten RB (JAC) My second backup RB, just hoping one of them will get a chance to play by the time one of my starters reaches a Bye or gets injured.

.07 Brandon Aubrey K (DAL) Decided to grab the best kicker, as the best defense was taken earlier.

.06 Chiefs DST (KC)

.07 Ollie Gordon II RB (MIA) My third backup RB is yet another guy who might not even get onto the field for a while. Chris Rodriguez might be a better pick here, given the recent news about Brian Robinson Jr.
